Terms and Conditions

For bookings made before 1 July 2025, please refer to Cancellations, Transfers and Refunds for IELTS Test Takers at RMIT UP (AU056).

Key Points:
  • You may change your test date, module, or test format free of charge once only up until the day of your test 
  • Cancel 14 days or more before your test and you’ll receive a full refund 
  • Cancel 7 to 13 days before and you’ll receive a 50% refund 
  • Cancel less than 7 days before and unfortunately, no refund applies 
  • If your ability to sit the test has been affected by serious illness, injury or other exceptional event, you must submit a request and provide supporting evidence no later than 14 days after the test date to be considered for a transfer of test date. Acceptable documentation may include a medical certificate from a qualified medical practitioner or a police report. 
  • Cancellation after a successful change of test date, module, or format will always incur 100% of the test fee
  • One Skill Retake tests cancelled less than 72 hours before the test date are not eligible for a refund. 
  • Transfers are not permitted between test takers or test centres.
