This form is for English for Academic Purposes (EAP) students at
RMIT University Pathways (RMIT UP) who wish to appeal their final course grade.
EAP students at RMIT UP may only
appeal a final course grade if they have completed the formal review for the
final course grade.
Appeals
must be submitted within one day of the student being sent the outcome
of the formal review of the final course grade. This is to allow time for the
appeal to be conducted and any grade adjustments to be made promptly so that
the student continues their studies in the correct class level.
To appeal a final course grade,
students must also provide evidence for one of the following reasons.
- The assessment didn’t comply with the description of the assessment or the assessment criteria in the course information
- Reasonable adjustment hasn’t been implemented according to an equitable learning plan
- There has been an error in the calculation of the assessment result
- There is inconsistency in how assessment decisions have been made
- There is a personal conflict with teaching staff that has negatively impacted the assessment result
